I can think of two popular tv shows where an episode is presented from the perspective of a main characters child looking back on the events, only for it to be revealed that the child doesn’t exist at all. The two examples I can think of are:

So I was wondering what other examples people can think of and which show did this idea best, especially/particularly how hard the reveal that the child isn’t real hits the audience, and how well it was foreshadowed without giving the twist away
