Comedy Central dresses up its Office reruns with new marketing (how long will they use the Jimdependence Day thing?), and clearly MTV is set on Ridiculousness autopilot. However, FXX with its cartoon reruns does themed marathons that give some variety to the same few shows you have seen already. Every Canada Day, Canada-themed episodes of King of the Hill and The Simpsons. Every Presidents Day, president episodes. Halloween, every Treehouse of Horror episode. This Fourth of July has a wide variety of episodes around the holiday and Americana in general. It’s a welcome break from the typical monotony of cable nowadays.
