For us it’s hard to top 1999. Newer Bengals fans who didn’t follow the team in the 90s might say 2015 because of how the disastrous O-line picks in the first two rounds closed our playoff window rapidly but we at least got guys like C.J. Uzomah (significant contributor during the 2021 SB run) from that draft.

The 1999 Draft featured us A) taking Akili Smith 3rd overall and turning down 9 draft picks to take him B) drafting a corner in the second round who suffered a career-ending injury in his first ever game and C) 0% of our picks amounting to anything (with the exception of Kelly Gregg who went on to be a good player for the Ravens years later).
