Maryland native and alum Jermaine Lewis was the first Raven drafted WR the Baltimore Ravens had ever given a contract extension to, back in 1998.
However, this was mainly due to him being a great return specialist, getting a Pro bowl nod and even making first team All Pro in 1998.
The Ravens have drafted 31 WRs since then, and none had ever received a contract extension from them until Rashod Bateman this off season.
