I watched Vince and the boys in real time when it first came out and loved it. My wife wasn’t into the genre back then, so I’d record them and watch them on my time.
Fast forward, and all the streaming services have gone to suck, and I’m in charge of finding stuff to watch. So, i took a flyer and suggested we watch The Shield, and if she doesn’t like it, I’ll find something else.
She totally got into episodes 1&2, so I’ve now got some serious quality binge watching ahead of me. I’m catching things I missed 16 years ago, but I’m getting off on her reaction to all of the characters as they go through all of their story arcs for seven seasons and 89 episodes…
I’m a happy man.
