Have you ever asked a proponent of a $15 minimum wage why states and cities who implement such a wage increase do it in steps so that it takes 10 years to actually implement?
If it's so great, why not implement it the next year in full. Why not provide all the amazing benefits proponents claim ASAP? Why wait until you're probably out of office and can't reap the joy and happiness at the ballot box? Let people show their support at your re-election!
