The main issue here is that the character being introduced is given incorrect information regarding the description of the man he is watching. The result of this is that the wrong person is apprehended while the real terrorist is able to trigger the explosive. The character argues over comms that the handler had given him bad information resulting in the wrong person being taken down. He even confirms the description multiple times. My question is, since this is a training exercise, wouldn’t the communication be recorded for review later for debrief? Why did the field agent take the fall when clearly, the other agent was at fault here? Wouldn’t it have made more sense that the agent giving the wrong intel be sent to spy purgatory?
