WE’RE GOING THROUGH EACH P4 TEAM’S SCHEDULE AND PICKING EVERY GAME.
Today we have the Baylor Bears.
This could be a make of break year for Dave Aranda after two straight years of regression.
Unfortunately I only have Baylor favored in 4 games this year and that is the 4 I have them winning. That obviously feels too chalky and I expect to see many teams in the Big12 lose games they should win and win games they should lose this year.
The problem is that Baylor’s best shots at making a bowl are beating Colorado in Boulder and taking care of business at home vs TCU, and I feel better about both of those teams over Baylor.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the new offense with Dequan Finn at the helm is able to keep this team in a lot of games, but they’ll need to turn a few one-score games into wins if they want to go bowling.
The floor is 3-9 again but I think they comfortably get to 4 or 5 wins. Getting to 6 or 7 is going to depend on some luck and some other teams underperforming.
How do you see it?
