Netflix is the gold standard for streaming when it comes to sucess, that much is already proven, but the same is also true for its layout and app functionality. It is by far the most intuitive app of the streamers. Whether it’s Paramount+ and Peacock’s terrible repeating of ads when you try to pick up where you leave off. Or D+ and it’s bad sound and fast forwarding. Or just the general glitchiness of Max. Then there’s Hulu and their insistence on not adding skip opening credits for anime as well as how even after you delete something from you watchlist it stays there.
Why is it so hard for other streaming platforms to develop a decent app?
