I read a sentence similar to this on another site some time ago and the more I think about it the more I think this is true. Do not believe? Take a look at what happened that year:

In 6 months we had weekly:

  • Star Trek: Strange New Worlds was great, it fired on all cylinders. It had one of the best first seasons of any Star Trek show.
  • Star Trek: Prodigy surprised everyone by being deeper than most people expected for a children’s show. It was also one of the best first seasons in Star Trek history, after the first episodes the series only improved with several great episodes.
  • Star Trek: Lower Decks continued to be great in its third season.
  • Star Trek: Discovery had some good episodes and I liked the idea and the plot about 10-C and it had a finale that was the definition of classic Trek.
  • And in Star Trek: Picard Seasons 2… You could say that the series had some good first episodes, I think.

Seriously, there has never been a time before in Star Trek where we had three great series at the same time.
