I’ve been rewatching Supernatural on Netflix. Anyways, Season 5 is seriously some of the best television ever created. The build up for this starts all the way back in its second season, but by the time you get to season four and five those dividends start massively paying off. I honestly can count on one hand the amount of TV shows with this deep of lore and mythology that actually uses it this well. Season 5 feels so much bigger, like its got its foot on the gas the entire time. You have so many returning characters and they never feel like they shouldn’t be there, major character deaths, the rise of Lucifer (played by Mark Pellegrino) who can somehow both lie and sound like hes honest everytime he opens his mouth, and then in the center of this biblical apocalypse are two brothers that are flipping off their own prophesied destinies and saying “were gonna fix this our way”.

Seriously… if you haven’t seen Supernatural you have been missing out. Its on Netflix give it a shot. And yes you can watch all 15 seasons, it never really got “bad” a few of the big bads weren’t super interesting but the final three seasons were pretty great. I really loved the final season.
