Since I pay more than $1400 in taxes every year, if the gov't gives it back to me, that doesn't mean I support socialism, etc.
The money was taken involuntarily from me in the first place and then a portion of it was given back.
That's like having a mugger give me back a few dollars from my wallet means I support mugging.
As a matter of fact, I'm happy to get it back. I'm not happy it was taken in the first place, I'm not happy for the reason it was given back, but it's mine and I will be happy to take it back.
