I have a long time love of Korean films, but I haven’t liked the tv shows much, and the only Korean shows I’ve really loved were Squid Game and Kingdom, though I kind of got worn out on that one. Bloodhounds is pretty good. I like the lead character and his friend, both of them being pretty simple “good guy” types, but that works for me. The rest are all well acted, if a bit two dimensional, as well. It’s a relatively simple premise: it’s set post COVID-19, and the story is basically two young boxers trying to protect the lead character’s mom and her business, but it branches out into vigilantism against the loan sharks of the area, one main villain in particular. It’s a basic street action type show, but the characters are fun, the few action sequences have been really good, and Seoul looks like a beautiful city.
Edit: I should have mentioned I only saw 2 episodes, but it’s good.
