Hey CFB friends. As one of the very few resident D2 experts on the sub, I wanted to share some information to the CFB masses that will hopefully result in some help.
D2Football.com is the top website for any and all information regarding NCAA D2 football, and has been for about 20 years.
The founder/owner, Brandon Misener, suffered a stroke in early May while serving his community as a substitute teacher.
The worst outcome has thankfully been avoided, but Brandon is going to face some lengthy rehab, as he has just moved from the ICU to an acute rehab facility.
Brandon has been the single biggest voice for D2Football for decades now. He’s well-known by virtually every D2 football school and coach. He’s one of the nicest and jolliest people you’ll ever meet, and has been the administrator for the website the entire time, operating at a loss every year. He does it so the D2 community has a place to congregate and get their information. It’s largely a hobby that is done out of the goodness of his heart.
The columnists of D2Football have set up a GoFundMe for Brandon’s medical expenses, and any help you may want to contribute would be greatly appreciated.
