I loved this show growing up and loved it start to finish, but it did feel like the show lost its initial edge after a few seasons. There exceptions ofc like Santa getting fucking shot but besides that and that animatronics episode where they had a full on shootout most of the episodes were pretty tame.
You even had some light vulgarity in the earlier seasons when a character would get away with saying pissed a few times on the network. I fucked with close enough but I felt it’s vulgarity was kind of a fault, like they tried really hard to let you know “hey guys, this is adult regular show”. I loved when regular show kinda drew the line of what was appropriate to show on a kids network. Hope they bring that season 1-3 feel back.
