Just finished it and want to gush about it.
The characters, story, the imaginative alien creatures and ecosystem. There was that scene in episode 3 of the little creature in the plant. I was completely mesmerised by that little sequence.
And that villain. That menacing, ugly frog/salamander thing. God, I hate it. Kamen too, I suppose, and that whole symbiotic/parasitic thing they have going on.
As soon as it finished it I searched for “Scavengers Reign season 2” and I saw that it was originally cancelled by HBO and then Netflix picked it up but there are loads of articles saying a season 2 is unlikely as the viewing figures don’t seem to be great, which is a shame because that ship at the end had me intrigued. It still had a satisfying ending though and I highly recommend it if you like/love sci-fi and alien worlds.
