This might be a hot take here but I just found him constantly abusing (even if uninentionally) that guy and forcing him into Tom’s life more cringy than funny and anytime the first season cut to his subplot I rolled my eyes. Plus it felt like the show was making fun of mental illness whenever he was on which is a bit…iffy.
Best thing that show did was write him out IMO
