Hey all, big news! As a mod of both r/goldandblack and r/libertarian I've been working behind the scenes on this for the past several months, working to bridge the gap between our subs, and we've finally had a break-through agreement that we are ready to announce--the merger of our two amazing subs!!!
r/Libertarian has agreed to retire their sub and turn it into a redirector to our sub, thus sending all their users to us, making r/GoldandBlack the pre-eminent libertarian sub on Reddit. As part of the deal, the r/libertarian mods will all become mods here as well, and together we will form a single subreddit with over 555,000 members!
Please give a warm welcome to all the new r/libertarian users who will be streaming in today by the thousands from the other sub as the redirector goes live!
