I was thinking about this play by Brett Favre, where he rifles in a short pass to Bernard Berrian and then proceeds to run 40 yards up the field to block Patrick Willis of all people. I hate everything about Favre post-retirement but goddamn if that isn’t one of my favorite high-effort plays by anyone, let alone a 40-year old QB.
Anyone else have this internal conflict, where there’s a player that you take huge issue with but they produced a wonderful on-field highlight that you can’t not appreciate?
