It just feels so formulaic. Introduce a character, make them seem shady, they have anger issues and are unlikable. They then break down emotionally and reveal why they are the way they are, and, hey, presto, redemption, move on to the next character. Rinse and repeat. Are people that desperate for slow-burning crime shows that they’ll put up with this slop? Or am I missing something?
