I have noticed some interesting things lately. Probably a result of the streaming services having access. But I find out that a TV show has been canceled and yet advertising still includes the promotion of the show. Not just in the weeks leading up to the final episode, sometimes up to a year later.
Obviously I imagine that there are contracts about how long something should be advertised. But I figure that it isn’t going to be bringing in much money. That’s probably why it got canceled in the first place.
So generally speaking, how long do you think is a reasonable time to continue advertising a canceled show?
