I was re-watching episodes of Castle when I was reminded of the 3XK storyline over the years. I was wondering, can any of you think of any other recurring antagonists in episodic shows that would only show up once or twice a season culminating in a longer character story arc? In Castle, 3XK only appears in about 4 episodes (although he’s mentioned in an additional 3-4) over 4 seasons. I know there are plenty like this out there, but I got nothing.
