With there being a cap on how much schools can pay players on their teams with direct revenue, which team do you think will be the first to get caught paying players more through indirect methods buried in budgets that are scrutinized by auditors?
Why it will be the University of Kansas:
-They don’t have a field/stadium currently and are desperate to attract talent to compensate for the shame of having to play in Missouri and contribute to the Missouri economy.
-Jayhawks aren’t real animals (they don’t exist), and so in order to convince players to play for your school that worships a false god, you are going to have to find a way to pay the talent more to get them in Lawrence.
-Lawrence burned down once before, so potential recruits may be nervous about playing somewhere that could burn down again.
-Large class sizes will make it harder for athletes to flirt with any teacher’s assistants to receive extra ‘help’, so the players will need more money to cheat successfully.
