Critics tend to start releasing their mid-year best of lists around the end of May, so I wanted to beat them to the punch. What are your favourite tv shows so far this year?
Only rules are that it has to have aired at least one episode in 2024 (I wasn’t sure whether to include Fargo and The Curse because of this, but last time around I put them in a special “this doesn’t have enough episodes yet but I liked them!” And now they’re fully finished and stayed great the whole time so. Might as well give them their moment.)
