Horrible article title, obviously written to be misleading clickbait.
They didn’t delete the pension fund.
They deleted the Google Cloud account running the management of said fund.
It was inaccessible for a week, but has been fixed.
Big fuck up, and big news. But on the level of “hurts Alphabet stock and panics people for a week” not “bankrupts countless people, maybe crushing a whole nation’s economy.”
