The acting and writing is amazing but man I’m like crying every other episode and I’m only on the second season. This show is depressing as hell, it’s like misery porn as in for every good thing that happens, ten more bad things happen. Their personal lives are rough and then all the actual death or slowly dying happening in the ER, it’s like these guys can’t catch a break. I know it’s just a show and I’m not in the medical field, but if this is based on reality I feel bad for anyone working in a major city’s hospital.
This is a great show, I love the characters/actors and the stories, but don’t watch it expecting to feel good or happy for 95% of the episodes for at least the first two seasons I’m watching so far. I feel bad for these characters.
