I run a high impact startup in Denmark.

I believe in the sub’s premise and would like a future for many societies to have little to no governmental intervention.

Infact, I’m a part of the startup societies community where private individuals attempt to form small governments (such as liberland). It’s an ambitious, long process but I thoroughly believe in pure capitalism & high power of individual.

All that said, I’ve originally chosen DK over US solely for quality of life reasons at first. For their culture, infrastructure, people, values, nature & to a some degree governmental rules.

I was originally planning to stay for a year before globalizing and relocating to US until I asked what I wanted and went to do the paper work along with hiring lawyers to better understand the danish situation.

What I want (and doing) is creating an innovative company growing fast.

In Denmark income tax is highest in the world and can go above 50%, however Corp tax is lower than in America. (32% US, 22% in DK)

Additionally, danish gov pays back all business expenses made as long as they are recorded over time.

It doesn’t bother me how much I personally make because I care significantly about my business’s mission statement. It’s the reason I feel excited when waking up everyday.

Edit: I’m aware Ireland sits on corp tax of 12.5%. I’m growing my companies here to be attractive to the danish government, I would like to have their support in the startup society mission. If not, we head to Ireland.
