So I have recently decided to step into the world of twin peaks . It’s a huge cultural phenomenon and it seemed right up my alley. I ABSOLUTELY adored season 1. Those 8 episodes are some of my favourite tv ever . It felt like watching a Stephen king novel. Season 2 on the other hand has lost me almost from the start. It’s completely lost its main focus and now feels to be 90% town drama and politics and 10% the actual investigations and what not . I love cooper and Andy and sheriff Truman and their screen time is significantly low in season 2. And I find myself completely getting lost in all the sub plots . Being 6 episodes in does it get better ? Is it just something I need to trudge through? I’ve heard great things about the movie and the 2017 season which makes me really hesitant to just drop it.
