Doesn’t matter how popular or not they are, what are some shows that should have continued or shouldn’t have been cancelled in your eyes?
With the upcoming Alien show and others like it, it seems we’re slowly going into existing universes with different characters so it got me thinking, what other shows could have existed long past their original characters endings.
Straight off the bat, I think Westworld should have continued, nevermind the fact that I hate stories without an ending cough (The Winds of Winter) I think the universe itself was fascinating and some of the interactions outside the world spoke of a world dominated by AI, not just robots.
It could have branched off into the human element much like it did with the original Man in Black.
But existing universes aside, there’s shows that should have continued in their element like the cancelled Travelers show on Netflix or Stargate Universe, both shows ended just as they found their footing.
Another one is Angel, a show that continued in the form of a comic book but would have been absolutely amazing if it wasn’t cancelled by executives being asked earlier to renew it, despite having the viewership from Buffy which was in the millions.
