Fallout had a great mystery at its center, but it felt like it mashed together genres instead of blending them smoothly. It took me four episodes to get hooked, which is half the season. I’m a big fan of comedy-violence, and another video game adaptation from last year was Twisted Metal (Peacock original series.) For my money, Twisted Metal was pure delight, a post-apocalyptic road trip action-comedy that was firing on cylinders, lead by Anthony Mackie (Falcon / Captain America) and Stephanie Beatriz (from B99 and Encanto). Just a recommendation for the dozens of people out there who have Peacock - if you liked Fallout, you should check out Twisted Metal.
