For me it will always be “Sylvia” from Little House on the Prairie. Spoilers and TW: A girl is raped by an assailant in a clown mask and gets pregnant. She is blamed and slut-shamed by her father, and when her rapist tries to attack her again, he throws her down a ladder and she dies from the injuries.
I still don’t know how Michael Landon got that approved to air.
