As always the Canadian version proves itself far superior to it’s American counterpart. Better house, better comps, better house-guests, better host, better behind the scenes workers, etc.
This might be the first time that the two people I rooted for ended up in the final two together.
Bayleigh played a great game and in any other season should’ve been the obvious winner but it was nowhere near as good as Anthony’s was. He had complete control of the game from day one, just like season 7, and once again was not rewarded for it.
Did Bayleigh play a winner’s game? Yes.
Was it better than Anthony’s? No.
Was this the most bitter jury in the history off BBCAN? Probably.
Especially when you hear audience reports about how the jury acted during the taping of the finale. When Bayleigh gave her speech, they were cheering her on and when it was Anthony’s turn they didn’t even look at him and started engaging with the audience instead of listening.
Apparently it came out during the afterparty that Lexus would’ve won next to him too and she was nothing more than wallpaper this season.
I don’t like this trend in recent seasons where actual gameplay is punished in the end so we now get these “I was loyal, honest and true to myself”-type winners. It just goes against what BB is supposed to be and makes for a much worse game.
If it wasn’t Anthony then I’m glad it was Bayleigh that won but sitting next to him, she shouldn’t have won.
