Hope you’re doing well.

Just recently watched the episode of This Is Us in which Sylvester Stallone appeared as a version of himself in the show’s universe and i thought it was pretty cool how he was just this incredibly nice and gracious guy who helps out two of the main characters with helpful and poignant advice during filming of a movie.

However, one thing I notice that blends across most of these kinds of instances (aside from something like Curb Your Enthusiasm) is that they often come across as friendly, humble and almost always in a positive light, with fewer instances in shows (that I’ve seen) of someone playing a version of themselves that’s deeply flawed or unlikable.

What are other similar appearances from famous people playing a version of themselves that rank among the best?
