The reason that I’m asking is that all streaming platforms in Sweden have only with English with the sound explained. With English as a second language I like to keep the subs on.
I have Netflix, HBOmax and Disney, and they are all problematic. I think it would be easy for them to offer that. The have unlimited “tracks” for subs.
(I usually don’t use the swe subtitles, because they are at best incomplete, or at worst, incomprehensible, plus, with English subs, I think i’m learning)
But also, sometimes in Europe, the subs for multi language shows seems to be not working.
My worst example right now is the Sympathizer (Hbomax). If I choose English, I only get subs for the english part, the vietnameese part is totally missing. I saw another post that they are “burned in” if you watch in the US, but here, you have to select Swedish to get subs for the vietnameese part.
