I used to like to watch Unsolved Mysteries sometimes in the late 80s through the 90s (I particularly liked the weird paranormal ones). I’ve been re-watching the show recently on Plex’s streaming service (which has the show for free with ads). One thing I’ve been wondering is, how did they include updates within the same episode they were showing the cases? This happens even on season 1, so I’m not sure if they were simply showing old cases again before showing the updates? Did the updates sometimes come between filming and airing an episode?
