Anyone losing track with all these breaks?

I’m starting to really just not keep up with tv after the constant breaks of tv shows.

Chicago fire for example has taken a month off, twice and a week off in the middle. Why? Is there a reason for all of these random breaks?

Same with the rookie, 2 months off.

I get mid season with Christmas and such, but cmon.

Anyone else?
