Just finished Netflix’s 3-Body Problem and really enjoyed it. I hope it gets a second season before too long by. But when I read that it cost more per episode to film than Game of Thrones I was just blown away. I mean, it’s a good looking show, but doesn’t have anything like the visual scale or complexity of GoT. It’s well acted, but doesn’t have the star power of GoT. Is it just that it’s become way more expensive to film over the past 10 years or was there a level of incompetence in the production that led it to go way over budget?
