So yesterday a friend recommended me to watch Sugar. We have similar tastes in movies and tv series, so I jumped on it as soon as I got back from work. My god, it completely took me in immediately. I love Colin, the character he plays is so well fitting for him, the whole neo-noir vibe of it, just perfect. I binged 5 episodes, then went to sleep, excited for the rest.

I’ve just finished the sixth episode, and wow. I had my suspicions that Sugar and the whole organisation he worked with wasn’t exactly normal. My theory was that Sugar and the others were the result of some experiment, to make them some of sort ultimate investigators. His immunity to alcohol, the way he could almost telepathically communicate with dogs, there were little pieces of things like that. But a fucking alien, god damn. Now I know that this reveal will divide people. People who were sucked in for the detective thriller will be put off by this sudden genre switch. I on the other hand am very excited to see what happens next. I appreciate what was done thus far and there’s definitely potential going from here. I just hope they do this right, and we might have something really great on our hands.

So, what does everyone else think?
