College football has produced some of the best, most well-known rivalries in all of sports, and some of these rivalries have nicknames that are instantly recognizable. Michigan-Ohio State is “The Game”, Alabama-Auburn is “The Iron Bowl”, Army-Navy is “America’s Game”, Oklahoma-Texas is “The Red River Shootout/Showdown”, etc.

However, there are some major rivalries, and some notable, lesser rivalries, that don’t have nicknames which I believe deserve one. Some examples are Florida-Florida State, Michigan-Notre Dame, and Notre Dame- USC.

What are some nicknames you would suggest for one of the rivalries listed or for a rivalry you’re a part of or have particular interest in?
