Original Title: For shows like 90 day fiancé and all of those other TLC shows do you think the people on them get paid well or do you think they just use the shows to springboard other ventures and they like the fame in those circles?
My mom is obsessed with those shows and I visit her almost every day so I end up after work having to watch like 2 hour blocks of TLC and it’s the same people over and over again for each show and they even have a show of the same people reacting to the new seasons of the 90 day fiancé stuff. Do you think TLC pays these people well? I remember meeting someone from Real World who had a buddy that constantly does those challenge shows and he told me how much they made and I didn’t get why he’d continue doing it. I wonder if it’s the same with TLC cause they have to be making millions off of those people.
