Am I understanding this report correctly?
Raping your wife is not criminalised in India, a husband can legally force himself upon his wife. The wife tried to argue in court that this loophole to the crime of rape only covers vaginal sex. The judge meanwhile ruled that the marital rape legality applied to all kinds of sexual acts.
If my understanding is correct, than the judge’s ruling isn’t the problem here, but the legal situation that marital rape is not a crime.
