I'm only really against the things I'm against as a libertarian (socialism, BLM riots, lockdowns, taxation, etc) because of personal beliefs and principle and not necessarily because I care about the people who'll be affected by it on an emotional level. Is that a bad thing?

The title is my question.

I can sympathize with people who get affected yeah, but that's not the main reason why I stand against those things.
