I’m rewatching this show called iZombie where one of the characters, Peyton, starts a relationship with the mass child murdering main villain, Blaine. When the relationship starts she doesn’t know who he is, but immediately ends it when she finds out. However, he gets “amnesia” (it’s a CW show), saves her life, gives her a smile and suddenly they’re back at it again. She justifies the relationship because he doesn’t remember, and everyone who protests is written as if they’re just jealous or too unsympathetic to his condition. We’re supposed to think Peyton is right to forgive Blaine for his past transgressions as if murdering dozens upon dozens of kids is just something to get over. He also murdered the main characters boyfriend but she parades him around the house they share together.
So what other shows feature characters who are obviously in the wrong but get written as if they’re not?
