In a democratic society, policy is dictated by the majority. In the US, socialism has risen sharply in popularity amongst Millennials/Gen Z, and they will be the political majority in several years. What can be done to reverse the trend?
The cynic in me thinks that maybe the US needs to go full circle (like the Cuban revolution aftermath producing anti-socialism emigrants). Perhaps if AOC becomes president in 2036 and people start getting tired of the bread lines, then maybe public opinion will turn. Hopefully it doesn't come to that...
