I’m halfway through season 2 and so far we’ve had
Talking dolphins
Ghosts
Aliens
Seaquest fighting (and beating) a god
Demons
Psychics
A crewman lusting after his own mother
Tons of t&a (including a doctor with ridiculously popping headlights)
Genetically engineered dolphin people
Bioengineered humans
Modified humans
WTF 🤣
I remember attempting to watch this show during the 90’s and stopping halfway through, now I remember why. A lot of the plotlines seem like blatant Star Trek ripoffs. Theres also no real continuity either, sometimes in the same episode. I’m honestly surprised it lasted even 3 seasons.
And yet season 1 had glimmers of something special, if they had stuck to at least a partly science based show about conservation and protecting the environment it could have been a good show. I knew when they did a ghost Titanic episode early in the first season it was all over.
