I wasn’t a sports person until the late 2000s so I did miss his prime.
I’ve always seen him highly regarded which yeah I guess co-MVP with Peyton Manning.
So all I have is to look at are highlights which obviously are going to look great, but his stats compared to how he’s remembered seem a bit different?
As far as stats alone goes, he seemed to have only 1 truly great season, with 3 good seasons at his peak. The 2006 Ravens though while his stats didn’t seem great, were 13-3 though.
Was he one of those guys that looked better than his stats or is this just people’s nostlagia?
