What do y'all think are the most practical ways to decouple ourselves from the government? Cryptocurrency is obviously a great way to decouple currency and day-to-day transactions from the government's eyes, but what else can we do? Where are the pain points?

I'm personally a real estate investor, and it sucks that real estate transactions basically must go through the government. Sure, there are talks of, in the future, putting houses and property on the blockchain, but my problem is the following. Say that I want to declare my house as some cryptoasset or however the terminology goes, and future sales would be recorded on the blockchain instead of in the county deed book. Someone down the line buys it from that person, and then someone else buys it and so on. Why can't I go down to the court house and say "Hey, this jerk is on my property. Look here: the last sale of the property was to me according to county records. Please get your goons to give me my house back".

On the other hand, despite my PhD being in nuclear engineering, I love solar because it lets you tell government-run/government-controlled utilities to suck one. The whole off-grid movement is neat. Too bad I can't see how we can get away from property taxes, though.

P2P lending also seems to have promise, although I haven't looked too much into it and worry the government already has its dirty hands all over it.
