I failed to grasp the point of the article tbh but
but wanted to mention I feel a lot of leisure is getting gobbled up by hobbies or chores or less heavy work but still kind of work (like managing social media for example) - labor seems to continue no matter how it's sliced

I just found the numbers quite informative, and the fact that at one point they predicted that we would be working less & less & less is ... interesting! Certainly didn't work out.
And with the pending food & energy crises, it seems doubly funny.
