Also how do you overcome it
Fear and worry
I am constantly planning and backup planning. Prepper mentality. What to do if I run out of money, or electricity stops due to the war/inflation or govt goes Vax fascist, or.. or.. or..
I won't stop. Even if 99% doesn't help immediately, preparation can come handy at a later date. I do the same at work, and tripled my salary. I can always find something new because I am always looking.
My antidote is my partner. She doesn't worry at all, and keep me grounded

My greatest weakness is lack of initiative. Some days, especially if I wake up too late, I sit around all day and don't do anything meaningful. It's what happens when I have no obligation to school or a sports team or scheduled work during the summer. At school, I'll save things for the last minute and sometimes not do them. It's gotten me into bad circumstances over and over.
I find that the best way to overcome this is to see the value in taking the initiative. It's hard to justify writing a paper or going for a run if there's no immediate benefit. However, having a 4-year degree and hella fitness is very desirable. So seeing the value in taking the small actions toward a big goal.

I used to do what you did too. Years later I think I forced myself too much. I think its better to look for something that excites you instead of having to push yourself all the time.
You become really good at things you naturally love. Things you force yourself to do.... after some years, you will stop doing them, and they will just disappear
The only exception is a job to pay the bills. Nobody likes that, but its non negotiable

I relate to this but more that I might do other things instead of maybe something I need to do, so my remedy would be to try to focus more on doing the right things
and then the opposite gender is sometimes distracting me and maybe I need a good relationship to fill that void

Yes become a chad, then all will come to you. Life is better in so many respects when you are fit and have a sense of purpose! I'm working on both those right now.
