  NGL guys, I am about to get fucked in the ass. I live close to Germany, firewood is sold out already

  This winter, likely I will travel to parks and illegally chop wood so I can boil water to keep myself warm

  Electricity prices are gonna do a number, and I wonder if we will have blackouts in winter when everyone is trying to use it to heat homes instead of gas

  I have some experience weathering -10C winters in a unheated cottage, but I am not cut out for cold

    Technically, there are sleeping bags in which you could consistently sleep in in sub-zero temperatures without any issue.

    I also knew a guy who was poor here whose family kept their home consistently around 13 degrees celsius in winter. It was strange, sure, but I honestly didn't have that many issues sleeping there. I just didn't take my jacket off sometimes.

      I can sleep only 8 hours a day. For the other 16, I have to work, right ? Hot water bottles under a blanket and hot drinks are the ideas I came up with.
